Facebook's Inconsistency

Ever notice how the feeds on Facebook's homepage seem at times random?  For instance, click on the "home" link on top.  You'll notice that the stories are not historically arranged and that some stories move up or down inconsistently.  This is rather annoying since they moved towards the more "FriendFeed"-like interface.

Another big issue with them is the "online friends" numbering system.  It's always wrong.  You'll see "4" when it really means "2".  Of course, the AJAX daemon that runs in the background should be partly to blame for this as well as how people setup their privacy on the chat system.  But you would think this part can be readily remedied.

Then there's the photo and status links.  I don't know if other people are experiencing this issue as well, but occasionally when you click on a photo or status update, the browser will sit and spin indefinitely then decide that it doesn't want to load the image or person's status page up.  Sometimes for photos you'll get an AJAX loader or a non-AJAX loader.  This is just silly.

Oh then there's the whole mix up between the Wall-to-Wall feature and the status feature.  I think they should just blend the two together.  Obviously, their go is to move towards a microblogging type of environment a la Twitter.  So iI really wish they integrate both features quite soon.
