okay, not by a lot.  but i've been keeping track of the number of jobs on a certain job board and noticed that within the past two weeks, there has been over 1000 new jobs in the tech industry.  naturally, the job board probably has duplicate postings from recruiters.  still, the number is better than what we've been hearing lately as just being down numbers.

some hot jobs i've seen in terms of the number of increases we in the following:

• software manager (over 300)
• system administrator (over 150)
• silverlight (around 70)
• project manager (over 300)
• data warehouse (nearly 200)

These are just more noticeable increases.  I'd have to sit down and calculate the exact percentage of increases per category that I'm looking at.  But I'm certain those in the market might be interested in this.
