That was a nice little instance. Took my shaman for that one. I think he was the highest level guy there. Had two shamans, my friend's druid, a hunter and a pally as a tank. My friend kept commenting that the pally couldn't tank and the hunter seemed to just aggro everything around us. But everyone seemed to have twink gear so it was essentially a really quick run. Got a nice shield and belt from the run though. That was happy. I think midway the hunter left and we were gonna run through with four people, but a mage entered the fray towards the end. Unfortunately, I didn't pick up the related quests in Undercity and you can't retroactively turn them in. Oh well. My guy was a bit high for that area anyway, but as I mentioned I got a shield, belt and the achievement, so yay!
I heard that they're gonna re-tool this spot in the upcoming expansion. So it's nice being able to run through the place before all the changes are made. Hopefully, I can run it once or twice more before the expansion.
Thereafter, my friend and I started to hit Blackfathom Depths. Unfortunately, we made it to just the turtle boss spot. Then two of the other guys ditched us. Sadly, we had a better tank this time around and a rogue with good gear. Heck, I even made the jumps this time through so I was a bit miffed. We definitely could've handled this spot. I think I might've dinged in there.
I think I'm gonna try more random instances. As long as I have one other guy that I know in those instances, I'll be okay. On a side note, it definitely is easier being a DPS guy than a tank. It'd be really cool to have more people I know simultaneously playing. Maybe run some of these instances a few times to farm blues. Getting there...
