Emulator Isses on Android Development with Eclipse on Ubuntu

Just found a major issue that caused my emulator to hang after installing the Android SDK on my Eclipse. The issue is that the emulator refuses to start possibly as a result of using OpenJDK that comes pre-installed on Ubuntu (my system is Ubuntu 10.10). So what you need to do is remove all references to OpenJDK and install the Sun JDK version. After you do this, you should be able to reboot your Eclipse and start your AVD. It's still slow to boot, but at least it'll work.
