Interesting Idea for Avoiding Late Night Snacking

I'm not a huge snacker and I attempt to avoid eating late at night.  In the past, that wasn't always the case.  And even now, if I have something easily accessible, I'll take a few nibbles.  However, I found a good tactic to avoid eating at night, especially sweets: brush your teeth and use mouth wash after eating dinner.  Okay, so maybe you already do that.  However, psychologically I just feel far less compelled to snack once I brush my teeth at night.  Drinking water is fine for me because I don't feel the need to re-brush my teeth.  Again, this just might be for myself.  But give it a try and see how it feels.
