And the list of brides keep coming through as idol/model Nori Horikoshi announced marriage to a dentist 14 years her senior.  The only way I found out about Horikoshi-san was through a small show called "Ai No Apron." (i.e. The Apron of Love).  In the show, she appeared as the cute little red apron wearing anti-Iron Chef.  She was so horrid in cooking that she consistently would be voted the worst cook and even managed to secure the worst chef for one whole season at the end of the year (complete with typical Japanese girl pouting).  One of the most hilarious episodes had her concoct (as I refuse to call what she does "cooking") a horrid interpretation of beef curry.  The reactions on the show by various guests were priceless from them running to the "bucket of love" (i.e. the toilet/trash can) to even strangling her.  I think loud spoken geinojin Akiko Wada even tongue-in-cheek suggesting that Horikoshi-san find a new agency.

That all said, it kinda makes you wonder how and why this dentist who is 14 years older would want a wife that supposedly had notoriety in the kitchen.  Well, obviously, the young lass is a cutie.  But eventually I'm certain that even that glamor will some day fade.  Or perhaps it was the other way around and that she found him.  Meaning that she requires someone to cook and care for her (certainly, you would question the television show's veracity in their claim that she's such a poor cook, but you can sort of buy into this to a degree).

Ah, the world of the Japanese star truly baffles me at times.
